There seems to be no end to the amount of things you can do with your Instant Pot. You can make soup, stews, and stocks. You can cook an entire chicken. You can whip up a mean risotto. You can even hard boil eggs inside (and you’ll be amazed by how easy the IP lets you peel off their shells).
But thanks to one genius food blogger we are all forever indebted to, we now know that you can also make wine in your Instant Pot. Um … WHAT.
Seems almost too good to be true, right? Except that it is. David Murphy of the blog FoodNService recently put his Instant Pot to the test, using some Welch’s Grape Juice, a cup of sugar, a packet of Lalvin Red Wine Yeast, some clear packing tape, and a funnel.
