Truth be told, my husband would have been perfectly fine had we stopped at two children. We had one boy and one girl — the “perfect” family. It took a lot of convincing, but my husband eventually got on board with baby number three. “This is the last one, I promise!” I declared. Especially toward the end of my third pregnancy, I was all like, “Yeah, I’m never doing this again.” We even sold a bunch of boy clothes because our third was girl.
